Franklin Abbot Reads Pink Zinnia
Abbott’s new book of
poems and stories, PINK ZINNIA, is his first since Mortal Love was
published ten years ago. Abbott brings his insight as a poet,
psychotherapist, and long time community activist to his new work. Some
of the stories and poems paint portraits of people both celebrated and
unknown, some reflect on his travels especially in India and the
American Southwest. Many poems follow his spiritual interests in
mysticism while others are political. There is humor and pathos as
well.
